  6. The RSPS community is abuzz with speculation and concern following the recent Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) complaints filed against several prominent RSPS-related domains, including: rune-saga.com (Pending) runesaga.net (Pending) runeglory.com (Pending) rune-rift.com (Pending) These actions, believed to be initiated by Jagex Ltd., highlight the ongoing legal pressure on RuneScape Private Server operators. However, the community is now questioning why certain other platforms, such as rune-server.org, remain untouched, despite being perceived as clear breaches of copyright themselves. The Case Against the RSPS Domains The domains currently under UDRP scrutiny share a common theme: the "Rune" branding. This closely ties them to RuneScape’s intellectual property, potentially misleading users into believing these servers are affiliated with or endorsed by Jagex. Jagex has a long history of defending its trademarks, often targeting RSPS platforms and domains that infringe on its intellectual property. If the UDRP cases succeed, ownership of these domains could be transferred to Jagex, or the domains could be deactivated entirely. Why Has Rune-Server.org Been Overlooked? Amid these legal actions, many in the RSPS scene are asking: Why has Rune-Server.org not faced similar scrutiny? Rune-Server.org is one of the largest hubs for RSPS development, advertising, and discussion. Critics argue that it is a blatant breach of copyright, with its name and branding leveraging RuneScape’s intellectual property. Additionally, the platform facilitates the distribution of RSPS tools, source codes, and assets, further fueling the private server scene. However, there are several possible reasons why it may have been overlooked: Community Perception: Rune-Server.org is positioned as a community forum rather than a server host, which may give it a layer of separation from direct infringement. Strategic Prioritization: Jagex may focus its legal resources on direct competitors, such as RSPS domains actively hosting private servers, rather than forums. Legal Complexity: Proving that Rune-Server.org violates trademark or copyright laws might require more extensive legal effort compared to targeting individual server domains. What This Means for the RSPS Community These legal actions serve as a reminder of Jagex’s active role in monitoring and enforcing its intellectual property rights. While domains like rune-saga.com and runeglory.com are under direct threat, platforms like rune-server.org highlight the gray areas of RSPS legality. For developers, players, and RSPS enthusiasts, these developments raise critical questions about the future of the private server community and its ability to innovate without crossing legal boundaries. rspstoplist.com Stance At rspstoplist.com, we remain committed to providing players with a transparent, secure, and reliable platform for discovering RSPS servers. We advocate for creativity and originality in the RSPS scene while respecting intellectual property laws. As this situation unfolds, we’ll continue to provide updates on the UDRP cases and their impact on the community. Final Thoughts The UDRP complaints against RSPS domains like rune-saga.com and the broader questions surrounding platforms like rune-server.org underscore the tension between creativity and copyright enforcement in the RSPS world.
  7. The RuneScape Private Server (RSPS) scene has always been dynamic, with servers rising and falling based on their innovation, community management, and longevity. However, few closures have sent shockwaves through the community quite like RuneWild’s recent announcement to shut down. RuneWild, a beloved server that catered to PK enthusiasts for years, left thousands of players without a home when it closed its doors. PkWild Within weeks of RuneWild’s closure, a new server, PkWild, has emerged, claiming to provide a home for disenfranchised players. The announcement from Jonny, one of the developers behind PkWild, presents the server as a fresh start for the PK community. However, the server’s striking resemblance to RuneWild—right down to its graphics and core concept—has raised eyebrows. According to Jonny’s announcement on 1/11/2025: “We are not impersonating RuneWild, or David. We are aiming to bring back the original RuneWild content, but we also are aiming to add our own twist.” Despite these claims, PkWild’s near-identical aesthetics and features suggest otherwise. Critics argue that this is not an homage to RuneWild’s legacy but a blatant cash grab aimed at exploiting the player base left in the wake of its closure. Player Reactions The RSPS community has been vocal about PkWild’s launch. Many players have expressed frustration at the perceived lack of originality and transparency: "It feels like they’re trying to trick us into thinking this is RuneWild 2.0." "Why would they steal all the graphics to look exactly like RuneWild? It’s just a lazy cash grab." Others are skeptical about PkWild’s promises of active updates, given its rushed launch and incomplete feature set. While the server boasts plans for gradual growth and improvement, its initial state leaves much to be desired. The RuneWild Legacy RuneWild’s original owner, David, has remained silent about PkWild’s launch. However, many in the community feel that the legacy of RuneWild is being tarnished by this imitation. RuneWild was known for its dedication to player satisfaction and innovation—qualities that PkWild has yet to prove it can replicate. As the RSPS landscape evolves, players are encouraged to approach new servers with caution. While PkWild markets itself as a new beginning, its similarities to RuneWild raise questions about its intentions and long-term viability. At rspstoplist.com, we strive to provide players with reliable, virus-free listings to ensure the best gaming experience. Stay tuned as we continue to cover the latest RSPS developments and trends.
  8. Mythicalps domain is gone. It was then changed to MythicalX which was used to pull of a cash grab. Both are now gone. Owner thought he was slick and transfers the host into someone else name. And then came back 2 days later to delete half the server. Make it look like it broke, all while going ghost and deleting his discord. Owner was known by Connor aka Joopz23.
  9. Speaking of cash grabs. I believe this is what happened with MythicalPS. Owner got a letter from Jagex, created a new domain "MythicalX". Started a new "season" had a couple hand fulls of people spend upwards of 20k on donations AGAIN.. Lied to all of us constantly. Was told he was going to code on the back end while someone else host's it. Transfers owner's and then from what I can tell, comes back 2 days after deleting his discord and not communicating with anyone, and sabotages the server never to be seen again. Was able to see it in the host log files. Real peace of work if you ask me! Took a video of the remote access log and could see someone came in around the time the server went down, and deleted half the server. Owner went by the name Connor aka Joopz23.
  10. In a fascinating turn of events, it has come to light that Jagex, the developers of RuneScape, have acquired control over the r/RSPS subreddit. This revelation is significant for the RSPS (RuneScape Private Server) community, as the subreddit has long been a hub for players, developers, and enthusiasts of private servers. However, what's even more intriguing is the backstory behind this acquisition. The History of r/RSPS For years, the r/RSPS subreddit operated as an independent platform for discussions, server promotions, and community building. The previous owner was reportedly looking to sell the subreddit for a hefty price of $12,000. This high valuation underscores the subreddit’s perceived importance within the RSPS niche. Fast forward to today, the subreddit’s moderation team now includes accounts linked to official Jagex staff, hinting at a strategic acquisition by the company. Current Moderation Team Here’s a breakdown of the moderators as of recent: u/ArbalistDev: Former owner, joined on May 11, 2023. u/wholesome_sween: Known to be part of Jagex’s OSRS team, joined on February 9, 2024. u/I_No_Speak_Good: Another Jagex-affiliated moderator, joined on February 10, 2024. u/dahlia-is-chilling: Joined in December 2024, with specific permissions for managing posts, mail, and comments. u/AutoModerator: The automated bot for subreddit management. Interestingly, all these moderators, except the bot, are also moderators on the r/2007scape subreddit, the official subreddit for Old School RuneScape (OSRS). This strongly suggests Jagex's deliberate effort to oversee and possibly repurpose r/RSPS. Why Does This Matter? The acquisition of r/RSPS by Jagex raises several questions about the company's intentions: Control Over Narrative: By managing the largest RSPS subreddit, Jagex can monitor discussions and potentially influence the narrative around private servers. Legal Implications: As Jagex continues its crackdown on private servers through domain takedowns and legal actions, gaining control of r/RSPS may provide them with an additional platform to enforce policies or communicate their stance. Community Reaction: The RSPS community has long thrived on independence from Jagex. The acquisition could alienate some users who value the subreddit as a free space for private server enthusiasts. The Bigger Picture This move fits into a broader strategy by Jagex to consolidate control over RSPS-related content and communities. From domain takedowns to targeting Discord servers, the acquisition of r/RSPS is another step in their efforts to curtail the influence of private servers and protect their intellectual property. The acquisition of r/RSPS by Jagex is a bold and strategic move that underscores their commitment to addressing the RSPS scene. However, whether this will foster better relationships between Jagex and the RSPS community or further widen the divide remains to be seen. For the RSPS community, this is a reminder of the shifting landscape and the growing influence of official channels. As always, rspstoplist.com remains committed to supporting the community with accurate news, secure server listings, and a platform for independent discussion.
  11. In what can only be described as another blunder in its relationship with the RuneScape community, Jagex has once again alienated its players. Less than six months after sparking outrage with a membership price hike, the company is under fire for conducting a tone-deaf survey about potential pricing and feature changes. Ironically, while this move has angered RuneScape players, it has inadvertently strengthened the appeal of RuneScape Private Servers (RSPS), where server owners prioritize community needs over corporate profits. A Survey That Feels Like a Slap in the Face The now-infamous survey floated numerous membership tiers for both RuneScape and Old School RuneScape. These tiers included contentious features such as shorter AFK timers, specialized member worlds, and mobile-only access for lower-priced plans. Many players view these changes as clear paywalls that threaten gameplay fairness and content availability, despite Jagex's reassurances to the contrary. One proposed top-tier plan includes perks like access to eight member characters, reserved character names, enhanced support, and even a "pause membership" option. The catch? It would cost a jaw-dropping $32.49 per month—over $350 annually for those who pay upfront. Unsurprisingly, this price tag has fueled outrage among even the most loyal fans. Community Backlash: A Hurricane of Discontent The RuneScape subreddit and other social platforms exploded with criticism. One widely-upvoted Reddit post summarized the mood perfectly: The ONLY reason I play OSRS and no other MMO is because it's the only one that doesn't compromise game integrity for profit. "I don't like MMOs because all of them are greedy whale farms that are designed at every corner to milk you for every cent they can. It's not that I don't find them fun; I'm just opposed to the idea of designing a game around maximizing profit instead of player experience. If OSRS even slightly starts to head in that direction, then I will leave without a second thought. I have more days in-game than most people have hours, but I'll drop the game immediately and for good if Jagex thinks they can charge extra for premium worlds access, customer support, or even put ads into the game." This sentiment has resonated with thousands of players, resulting in massive upvotes and impassioned discussions in the comments. One user highlighted the gravity of the situation: "Without everyone quitting, we would have never gotten OSRS. Quitting is the best thing we can do for the game to improve it, if this happens." Another player remarked, "The game will be in a state where it's impossible to buy low-level resources. All worlds have fewer than about a hundred people. Updates are no longer frequent because staff is laid off as player count and profit drops. The investment firms realize they squeezed out all the profit they can, and the game ends." Why This Is Great News for RSPS As Jagex stumbles, the RSPS community stands ready to welcome disenchanted players with open arms. Unlike Jagex, RSPS owners understand the importance of prioritizing players' experiences over squeezing every dollar out of them. RSPS platforms offer engaging gameplay, community-focused updates, and freedom from the corporate-driven decisions that plague official RuneScape servers. Every misstep by Jagex further highlights the value of RSPS as an alternative. Players fed up with rising costs and questionable changes can find solace in private servers, where they can enjoy the game on their terms. Jagex's Loss is RSPS's Gain Jagex's survey might be "just research," but its impact on the community is already being felt. As players grow increasingly disillusioned with the official game, RSPS owners have a golden opportunity to showcase their commitment to fair, community-first gaming. While Jagex digs itself deeper into a hole, the RSPS community will continue to thrive—proving, once again, that listening to your players is the key to success.
  12. The RSPS (RuneScape Private Server) community continues to face heightened scrutiny as Jagex Limited ramps up efforts to enforce intellectual property rights. In a recent case involving Scape05.com and Scape05.ru, Jagex, represented by Stobbs (IP) Limited, issued a strong legal warning and successfully secured a UDRP (Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy) decision to transfer the Scape05.com domain. This blog delves into the takedown, the legal claims, and what it means for RSPS operators. Background: The Legal Challenge Against Scape05.com and Scape05.ru Scape05.com and Scape05.ru hosted unauthorized, pirated versions of Old School RuneScape (OSRS) under the guise of a fan-driven, nostalgic experience based on the game’s 2005 version. Jagex took action, citing trademark infringement, copyright violations, and unfair competition. In parallel to the UDRP complaint, Jagex’s legal representatives, Stobbs (IP) Limited, sent a comprehensive takedown letter detailing the alleged violations and their consequences. The Key Takeaways from the UDRP Decision Trademark Infringement: The UDRP panel found that the Scape05.com domain name was confusingly similar to Jagex’s trademarks, particularly “RuneScape” and “DarkScape.” The use of “Scape” with the year “05” directly referenced a version of RuneScape from 2005, making it unmistakable to the panel that the domain was associated with Jagex’s intellectual property. No Legitimate Interests: The respondent claimed the project was non-commercial and included disclaimers disassociating it from Jagex. However, the panel concluded that hosting a pirated version of the game violated copyright laws and Jagex’s End User License Agreement (EULA), undermining any claim to legitimacy. Bad Faith Registration and Use: Evidence indicated the respondent intentionally registered and used the domain to host a pirated version of OSRS. The panel emphasized that leveraging Jagex’s goodwill for unauthorized purposes constituted bad faith. Highlights of the Stobbs Takedown Letter The legal letter from Stobbs (IP) Limited adds further context to Jagex’s legal strategy and underscores the seriousness of intellectual property enforcement. Jagex’s Intellectual Property Portfolio: The letter lists trademarks such as “RuneScape” (UK00003571276) and “DarkScape” (EU 018613417), along with copyright ownership of the game assets. These form the backbone of Jagex’s legal claims. Accusations Against Scape05.com and Scape05.ru: Use of a pirated OSRS copy. Replication of official OSRS branding, including logos and in-game assets. Trademark confusion and free-riding on Jagex’s reputation. The letter details specific violations, including: Proposed Resolution: Jagex demanded: Transfer of the domains to Jagex. A commitment not to create future RSPS infringing on Jagex’s rights. Introduction of Project Zanaris: The letter highlights Jagex’s upcoming Project Zanaris, a legitimate, community-driven server platform allowing OSRS fans to create customized experiences within the bounds of Jagex’s intellectual property. This initiative offers an alternative to RSPS operators looking to comply with legal requirements. Implications for the RSPS Community The case and accompanying takedown document reveal Jagex’s increasingly aggressive enforcement against unauthorized private servers. With Project Zanaris on the horizon, the legal environment for RSPS operators is becoming more challenging. For RSPS Operators: Ensure your server does not replicate copyrighted content or infringe trademarks. Monitor official developments like Project Zanaris for compliant opportunities. Seek legal counsel if you receive a takedown notice. For Players: Be cautious about engaging with RSPS that may operate in legal gray areas. Support community-driven projects like Zanaris, which have Jagex’s backing. Conclusion The Scape05.com case serves as a stark reminder of the legal risks facing RSPS operators. Jagex’s strategic approach combines legal enforcement with the introduction of community-focused solutions like Project Zanaris. 13. As a RuneScape Private Server (RSPS) owner, your primary focus may be on providing a great gaming experience, but have you considered how secure your players' accounts are? The truth is, 9 out of 10 RSPS users are careless with their passwords and PINs, which poses a significant risk not only to them but to your server’s security as well. The Reality of Lazy Passwords and PINs Most RSPS players just want to jump into the game. Security often becomes an afterthought, leading to weak credentials that are painfully easy to guess. Common examples include: Most Common PINs in 2025: 1234 1111 0000 1212 7777 1004 2000 4444 2222 6969 Most Common Passwords in 2025: 123456 123456789 qwerty password 12345 12345678 111111 1234567 123123 1234567890 These simplistic combinations make accounts highly vulnerable to attacks, whether by opportunistic hackers or disgruntled players. Imagine the chaos if a player's weak password leads to unauthorized access, item theft, or account breaches. Why It’s Time to Enforce Stronger Security Measures The era of relying on primitive 2012 login methods is long gone. In 2025, server owners need to take security seriously by implementing stricter measures: Enforce Strong Password Policies: Require passwords to include uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Set a minimum password length (e.g., at least 8–12 characters). Prevent the reuse of common passwords through a blacklist. Require Stronger PINs: Enforce a minimum of 6-digit PINs. Prevent common sequences like "1234" or "0000." Regularly prompt users to update their PINs. Adopt Single Sign-On (SSO): By integrating services like Google or Discord logins, you reduce the risk of password-related breaches. SSO streamlines the login process while leveraging trusted authentication providers. Implement Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Make 2FA mandatory for all users. Options like app-based 2FA (Google Authenticator, Authy) are highly secure. Allow email or SMS-based 2FA for players who prefer simpler methods. Protecting Users Protects Your Server Enforcing these measures isn’t just about protecting your players—it’s about safeguarding your RSPS from potential disaster. Account breaches often lead to negative publicity, loss of player trust, and even security vulnerabilities that attackers can exploit further. When your players feel secure, they’re more likely to invest their time and resources into your server, knowing their efforts won’t go to waste due to weak security protocols. The days of weak passwords and guessable PINs must come to an end. As an RSPS owner, it’s your responsibility to lead the way by implementing robust security measures. Encourage players to adopt safer habits, and take proactive steps like enforcing strong password policies, requiring 2FA, or upgrading to SSO. By prioritizing security, you not only protect your users but also strengthen your RSPS’s reputation in the competitive gaming world. Take action today—don’t let lazy passwords be the downfall of your server.
  14. Duping has been a controversial yet fascinating topic in the RuneScape private server (RSPS) community. Today, we delve into an old-school duping method using RuneAgent, a tool that hooks onto the Java client. By understanding packet manipulation and decompiling login methods, you can exploit vulnerabilities in any RSPS server. What is RuneAgent? RuneAgent is a Java-based tool that provides an interface for manipulating game packets and other client functions. With the proper knowledge, it allows players to duplicate items (duping) by exploiting the client-server relationship. How Duping Works with RuneAgent Decrypting Login Methods: To start, you need a decent understanding of Java decompilation. Tools like JD-GUI and JAD can help you navigate client methods and decompile critical login functionalities. Understanding Packets: Packets are the communication protocol between the client and server. With RuneAgent, you can intercept and manipulate these packets to create false commands, such as item duplication requests. Setting Up RuneAgent: Download and configure RuneAgent from its GitHub repository. Use tools like AspectJ or JavaSnoop to further analyze the client's private classes. Running the Client: Modify your config.js file and set up your run.bat or run.sh file. A typical setup might look like this: java -noverify -Xbootclasspath/a:"RuneAgent.jar";"lib/bcel-5.2.jar";"lib/rsyntax.jar";"client.jar" -javaagent:"RuneAgent.jar"=config.js -jar client.jar Tools of the Trade Here are some tools to get you started: Decompilers: JD-GUI AspectJ JavaSnoop Other Useful Resources: 317 Protocol Packet Analysis Pastebin A Note for Newcomers If you're new to the concept of duping and RuneAgent, check out this video tutorial by Injectnique: RuneAgent Basics: Video (18:43) The Bigger Picture While methods like RuneAgent may still work today, traditional duping methods like operating, combining, or multi-logging without packet knowledge are far less effective. As the RSPS scene evolves, understanding tools like RuneAgent remains critical for exploring client vulnerabilities.

  19. On December 21, 2024, the MagePS Discord server, boasting over 5,000 active members, was completely wiped in an act of apparent sabotage. Lexi, the server's owner, confirmed the incident, stating: "Leviticus went on my Mage Discord and banned everyone lmao. Mans a lil salty." — Lexi, 12/21/2024, 4:14 PM The individual responsible, "Leviticus" (displayed as "Leviticusplays"), was allegedly the only person with access to the Game source, making it possible to carry out this mass ban. For RSPS communities, this incident serves as a wake-up call about the importance of Discord security and permissions management. What Happened to MagePS? MagePS's Discord was more than just a chatroom—it served as an archive of one of the most unique RSPS communities, where old friends could reconnect and talk, even if they no longer played the game. This server was a place for nostalgia and community, and its loss impacts the players far more than the owner. Losing such a valuable hub is a stark reminder of the importance of safeguarding community spaces. While this situation highlights the need for stricter security protocols and better permissions management, the real harm lies in the disconnection of the RSPS community that relied on MagePS's Discord. How to Protect Your RSPS Discord Server Whether you're managing a small server or a massive community, here are some actionable tips to prevent similar disasters: 1. Limit Permissions: Only grant View and Read permissions to most users. Assign moderator or administrative roles sparingly and only to trusted team members. 2. Review Roles Regularly: Audit roles and permissions frequently. Revoke access from inactive or former staff members. 3. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Make 2FA mandatory for all administrators. This adds an extra layer of protection against unauthorized access. 4. Backup Your Server: Use bots like Dyno or YAGPDB to back up server configurations and member lists. Logs can help you understand what went wrong and take corrective action. 5. Monitor Bot Access: Ensure that bots with admin permissions are secure and not accessible to unauthorized users. 6. Restrict Source Access: If you’re using custom integrations or a bot linked to your Discord, restrict access to its source code to trusted individuals. Why This Matters for RSPS Owners Discord is the lifeline of any RSPS community. A breach like this can destroy years of effort in an instant. As seen with MagePS, granting excessive permissions—even to trusted team members—can have disastrous consequences. At rspstoplist.com, we aim to keep the RSPS community informed and secure. 20. Hey everyone, I’ve been a bit slow with blogging as it’s New Year’s time, but I want to take a moment to share how happy I am with the progress our RSPS toplist has made. Despite the efforts of some haters using toxic methods to bring us down and harm the servers we operate, I’m confident that we’ll become a powerhouse in this space. One day, I believe, we’ll earn the respect we deserve. Our goals remain unchanged: we have no interest in cash grabs. We value genuine care and respect for users—not milking them for profit. Over the past four months, we’ve faced threats and negativity, including efforts to persuade other toplists to remove their listings with us. (Yes, we know who you are.) Unlike some, we don’t even require you to list us on your site, let alone ask you to remove other RSPS listings. On a positive note, there’s been a lot of excitement about the unique features we offer. We’re one of the first toplists that doesn’t require manual edits to your description—we handle it free of charge. In fact, you don’t even need to log in, as we ensure your links and descriptions stay up to date. Additionally, we don’t force you to incentivize a voting callback. Looking ahead, I’m optimistic about the great things this next year will bring—assuming Project Zanaris doesn’t decide to go on a legal rampage. But hey, we’re staying positive! A big thank you to our supporters: Reasons, Elkoy, Lunite, Simplicity, Galanor, Redemption, Delve, and Nebula.
  21. Mobile compatibility is a game-changer for RSPS (RuneScape Private Server) players and server owners alike. Not only does it ensure you avoid losing precious XP when away from your PC, but it also serves as a valuable tool for server owners to engage and grow their communities. Here are our top picks for RSPS servers with mobile support that are still actively developed: Redemption made history by being the first RSPS to launch an official Android client, creating a massive uproar in the RSPS scene. This innovation pushed many other server owners to explore mobile development for their platforms. Redemption has even bigger plans for the future: an iOS app on the App Store is set to launch next year, making it the first RSPS to achieve this milestone. Known for its dedication to its community, Redemption consistently invests in creating the best possible experience for its players. Alora takes a different approach with its mobile offering by utilizing a Progressive Web App (PWA). This means players can enjoy a seamless, app-like experience directly in their mobile browser on both iOS and Android. With its PWA, Alora provides flexibility and accessibility, allowing players to add the web app to their home screen for a native-like experience. It’s perfect for those looking for a hassle-free way to play on the go. Vulcan caters to Android users with its dedicated APK client. Known for its exciting Leagues system, Vulcan offers a competitive and engaging community experience. With its active development and thriving player base, it’s easy to see why many players enjoy being part of the Vulcan experience. As the only RuneScape 3 private server on this list, Ataraxia stands out by supporting mobile gameplay with its APK client. For fans of the RuneScape 3 experience, Ataraxia is a must-try. Its mobile support ensures you can continue your adventure wherever you are.

  23. The RSPS community is no stranger to flashy announcements and lofty promises, but Artemis RSPS, slated for launch on December 27th, 2024, has raised eyebrows for all the wrong reasons. With claims of "6+ months of development" and a "mind-blowing experience," Artemis RSPS is trying to make waves. However, a deeper dive reveals familiar tactics, recycled content, and a sharp decline in credibility. A Decline That Speaks Volumes Before we dive into Artemis, let’s take a quick look at StrattusX, Jonny’s previous project that fizzled out almost as quickly as it launched. The vote counts for StrattusX over the past three weeks paint a stark picture of its fall from grace: Week 1: 1,645 votes Week 2: 899 votes (45% drop) Week 3: 476 votes (47% drop from Week 2, 71% total decline from Week 1) Considering players can vote every 12 hours, these votes suggest StrattusX had an active player base of approximately 20–40 daily players by Week 3. This steep decline is a clear indicator of StrattusX’s inability to retain players, and all signs suggest Artemis RSPS may follow the same trajectory. Rehashed Content and Empty Promises Jonny’s announcement for Artemis RSPS is packed with buzzwords—“tons of raids,” “unique bosses,” and “jaw-dropping models.” Yet, there’s little evidence to back these claims. A closer look reveals that Artemis RSPS appears to be a re-skinned version of StrattusX, built on the same base code with minor cosmetic tweaks: Reused Maps: The maps have been slightly re-themed but remain structurally identical to those in StrattusX. Recycled Mechanics: The "unique bosses" are likely just re-skinned versions of existing NPCs, offering little in terms of fresh gameplay. No Proof of Development: Despite claims of "6+ months of development," the Artemis RSPS Discord is eerily quiet. There are no posts about ongoing work, sneak peeks, or gameplay updates over the past six months. It’s hard to ignore the parallels to StrattusX, which launched with similar fanfare only to crumble under its lack of substance and heavy focus on monetization. Familiar Names, Familiar Concerns Adding to the skepticism are the familiar Discord IDs involved in Artemis RSPS. If you see names like iamtherealluke, rhax, tamatea, or jonnyd3vs, proceed with caution. These individuals are notorious in the RSPS community for launching servers that prioritize short-term cash grabs over long-term player engagement. Their involvement in Artemis RSPS only strengthens concerns that this is another project designed to milk early donations before fading into obscurity. The Cash Grab Playbook If Artemis RSPS follows the same pattern as StrattusX, here’s what players can expect: Hype Building: Early giveaways, donation incentives, and promises of exclusive rewards to attract players at launch. Monetization-First Approach: Pay-to-win mechanics, loot boxes, and world-specific content locked behind paywalls. Player Decline: A rapid drop in active users as the initial excitement wanes and the server fails to deliver meaningful updates. StrattusX’s failure wasn’t due to a lack of effort at launch—it was the inability to create a sustainable experience that kept players engaged. Artemis RSPS, with its rehashed content and lack of innovation, shows no signs of breaking this cycle. Proceed With Caution For players considering Artemis RSPS, the advice is simple: proceed with caution. Wait for Feedback: Monitor early player reviews and gameplay footage before investing time or money. Avoid Early Spending: Resist the temptation to participate in giveaways or donation deals until the server proves its worth. Demand Transparency: Ask tough questions about what sets Artemis RSPS apart from StrattusX and hold the team accountable for delivering on their promises. Final Thoughts Artemis RSPS may be marketed as a groundbreaking server, but all signs point to it being a re-skinned cash grab. With recycled assets, a lack of transparency, and a team notorious for prioritizing monetization over meaningful content, it’s hard to see this as anything more than StrattusX 2.0. The RSPS community deserves better than empty promises and recycled ideas. Until Artemis RSPS can demonstrate a genuine commitment to quality and innovation, players should approach with a critical eye—and their wallets firmly closed. Time will tell whether Artemis RSPS is a fresh start or just another fresh coat of paint. But if history is any indication, it’s likely to follow the same path as its predecessors: a rapid rise, an even faster fall, and a disappointed community left in its wake.

  26. At rspstoplist.com, we’re not just another toplist site; we’re current and former RSPS owners who understand the frustrations that come with managing private servers. One of the biggest issues we’ve faced is the way voting systems are handled across various platforms. The Problem with Voting Incentives Currently, many RSPS owners are forced to prioritize voting incentives that often come with an experience we don’t believe is fair to your players. Your users are pushed to visit websites cluttered with vote gateway ads and banners. This not only disrupts their gaming experience but also diminishes the excitement of engaging with your server. Our Promise: No Vote Gateway Ads for Gold Members Here at rspstoplist.com, we’re committed to doing things differently. Once we secure a spot in the top three RSPS toplists, we promise to never allow vote gateway ads with banners for Gold Yearly Customers. This means: No interruptions for your players. A cleaner and more streamlined voting experience. A focus on driving engagement through your game – not external ads. Focus on the Game, Not Ads We believe in incentivizing your players through gameplay, not spam. For example, integrating voting rewards into in-game mechanics like Slayer tasks, beginner quests, or unique events can naturally encourage participation. This approach keeps the focus on your server’s content instead of forcing players to deal with websites cluttered with ads. The Future of Voting with rspstoplist.com Our goal is to redefine how voting works for RSPS communities. We want voting to feel like an organic and rewarding part of the game, not a chore that frustrates players. By prioritizing your server’s success and removing unnecessary interruptions, we aim to make rspstoplist.com the go-to platform for RSPS owners and players alike. Join us as we continue to improve the RSPS voting experience – for you and your community.
